Our meeting will be held at Sedgwick County Extension, 21st & Ridge. Enter from the Ridge Road side and go through the first set of double doors. The outside of the building says “4-H Hall”.
Come ready to sample as many soups/desserts as you want, then vote for your favorites ($1 per vote). Feel free to vote early and vote often!! The funds we raise this year will again be donated to ShelterBox which provides tools that enable people to rebuild homes and transform their lives after chaos of disaster and conflict. When people are plunged into crisis, normality is suspended. But good, quality shelter can cut through the chaos. ShelterBox started as a small organization in rugged West Cornwall in the UK and have grown to make a big impact across the world.
ShelterBox is project partners withRotary International, whose aim is to create positive, lasting change in communities at home and all over the world. By working together with Rotary, ShelterBox is able to collaborate and combine resources to ensure that they can support more communities in desperate need of shelter. Rotarians and Rotary groups across the world support ShelterBox in a variety of ways, from raising funds to providing support on the ground during response to a disaster. This partnership enables ShelterBox to cross boundaries and cut through red tape to reach even the most remote communities.
