David Phillips is the founder of Brand 316 (www.brand316.org), a Christ-centered prison ministry based in Wichita, Kansas. With a heart for second chances and a commitment to reducing recidivism, David leads Brand 316 in providing personal, professional and spiritual development to those incarcerated and recently released.
Brand 316 operates both inside correctional facilities and in the community through reentry housing, mentorship programs, job readiness training and discipleship. The ministry focuses on real transformation, equipping men with the tools, support and faith needed to rebuild their lives and thrive long-term. With a 100% success rate among participants in its reentry program, Brand 316 is a growing model for how churches, business leaders and communities can come together to break the cycle of incarceration and offer lasting hope.

Meeting at Westlink Branch Library

Special All-Club Meeting Today at the Westlink Branch Library! Instead of our regular club meeting today, we’ll be gathering for a special all-club meeting at the newly renovated Westlink Branch Library, located at 8515 Bekemeyer. A box lunch will be provided for those who signed up in advance. The Westlink Branch recently reopened after an extensive remodel that doubled its size and added modern community spaces and cutting-edge technology for the community to enjoy. As part of our club’s support for the library, we’ve donated a collection of Wonderbooks. During our visit, we’ll have the opportunity to see them and take a guided tour of the updated facility.

Postcard art often captures the time and place of a community's significant people, buildings, and events. He will look at the history of Wichita through his extensive collection of postcards. |
