At last week’s meeting, Club President Mindy Wagner shared a recap of this year’s Rotary District 5680 Conference. Our district includes 61 Rotary clubs covering the western two-thirds of Kansas and four clubs from the Oklahoma Panhandle.

Mindy highlighted key takeaways from the conference speakers, including District Governor Deb Minkler, whose focus this year, (under the Rotary Theme of "Unite for Good") is on anti-bullying initiatives.

She also shared the awards and recognitions our club received for the 2024–25 Rotary year (worth repeating in this bulletin!): Club Excellence Award, Rotary District 5680 Club of the Year, Club President Award (Ed Frey), Certificate of Appreciation for financial support of the End Polio Now campaign.

Our club continues to shine not only within our club but also at the district level. Thanks to our members who serve in District 5680 leadership roles:
Colby Reynolds: District Assistant/Area Governor
Ed Frey: District Learning Facilitator & ShelterBox Coordinator
Dave Abbott: District Foundation Subcommittee: Global Grants
Paul Blissett & DeAnn Sullivan: District Membership Committee
