LAST WEEK'S MEETING
Last week’s Rotary meeting took us off site for a Club Industry Tour to visit the Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Members gathered for lunch before touring the facility to learn more about the important work being done there. Our hosts shared insights into osteopathic medicine and explained how their program blends innovative, integrative, and holistic teaching methods. It was an interesting and informative visit, and we appreciated the opportunity to see the college firsthand. Thank you to Bob Nelson for arranging our club to meet there.

NEXT WEEK:
Annual Bookshelf Deliveries
This will take the place of our regular club meeting. We will gather at Benton Elementary for lunch at 11:45 a.m. in the school library. Please plan to arrive early to check in through the school office and have your driver’s license ready.
Following lunch, we will distribute bookshelves to Benton’s first graders, then head to Lawrence Elementary to hand out bookshelves there at 1:00 p.m.
Chick-fil-A box lunches will be provided, so a meal count is needed by this Friday. Please sign up or email me if you plan to eat lunch with us at the school.

RITE (Rotary Intercountry Teacher Exchange) Teachers Have Arrived!
This year, we are excited to welcome two teachers from Panama and two from Argentina. The RITE teachers will be with us until mid-February and will be speaking at our club meeting next Tuesday. A thank you to those from our club who are hosting them: Lesley & Mark Hazleton, Mark & Erin Hansen, Ed Frey & BJ Wells, John & Kathy Mosley, and DeAnn Sullivan.
