We will have a recap today of our activities this past year presented by our Committee Chairs, followed by our Past Presidents passing the gavel up through the years to this year's Club President Rick Ogelsby.

DIANE WALKER RETIRES FOLLOWING DECADES AS WEST WICHITA ROTARY CLUB EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

After 39 years of dedicated service to Rotary and the Wichita community, Diane Walker is retiring on June 30. We all celebrate Diane's incredible commitment, time and talent she has given all of these years. She is the shining example of SERVICE ABOVE SELF! Wishing you the very best, Diane, and thank you for everything!

SATELLITE CLUB MAKES LUNCH FOR OPEN DOOR

The Satellite Club gathered to make 150 sandwiches to serve lunch at Open Door for those in need. A big thank you to the Rotary Club of West Wichita for helping to financially support this important community project.

HOLIDAY RAFFLE: Hannah Scott, visiting Downtown Club Rotarian, won $10 in the raffle at last week's meeting. The raffle this week will be worth $135 if the Ace is drawn. Proceeds from the raffle are used to fund our Monthly & Holiday Grocery project so thank you for supporting this effort!

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE

STAR SPANGLED SERVICE PROJECT! The Satellite Club is supporting Lake Point Care Facility, 1315 N. West St., with their Fourth of July Celebration on July 1. They will run lots of games and activities and provide s'mores. Please plan to join the fun from 10:45 am-1:00 pm!

LOVIN' LAUNDRY! The Satellite Club's Laundry Love project will be held on July 2. The monthly laundry project is at Aqua Blast, 1092 W. McCormick St. from 4:30-6:00 pm. You are encouraged to come check out this great service to the community!

Mark and Lesley Hazleton just returned from Taipei where they attended the 2026 Rotary International Convention. Note the spiffy Rotary shirt Mark sported at last week's meeting!
