It's nice for our area Rotary clubs to support each other. Here is an opportunity with the East Wichita club:
It’s back and bigger than ever! This year’s March Madness “Battle of the Brackets” to benefit the East Wichita Rotary Foundation is on the near horizon! We hope to exceed last year’s profits of $1,600 for the Foundation, which provided over one-and-a-half annual scholarships for Sedgwick County students attending Kansas universities or colleges, or technical schools, pursuing a technical certificate. With the generosity of our sponsor, East Wichita Rotarian, Shane Pullman, of Nugent & Pullman Realtors, the prize purse has increased from $200 to $300, with the winning bracket taking home $150 and THREE $50 prizes, drawn at random, from all other brackets!

East Rotary Club Exec, Kim Hurtig, will receive notification of your purchase, acknowledge receipt of your bracket purchase, and then contact you AFTER Selection Sunday, March 12, providing you a link to complete your brackets anytime up to the tipoff of the Big Dance at 11 AM on Thursday, March 16! Spread the word! ANYONE can purchase a bracket and play: in fact, more participants just means more fun as we compete against fellow Rotarians, family and friends from across the country! As the bracket manager, I email tournament standings/highlights to everyone in the pool after each weekend to amp up the enthusiasm of the pool competition! You don’t have to “know college basketball” to win; perhaps your bracket will win just because you chose teams that have a cool mascot or you like their uniform colors! Remember, three non-winning brackets will each win $50!
