Wichita Friends School
Wichita Friends School

Aaron Fowler is a Wichita native, and a graduate of Friends University.  His career in education has been broad with 11 years of classroom teaching experience in Wichita Public Schools, 20 years of administrative experience as Executive Director of Hope Street Youth Development, and 10 years as a Nationally-recognized Teacher Artist.  Prior to becoming Head of School, Aaron volunteered in various ways at WFS, serving on the Board of Directors, as Clerk of the Development Committee, as a member of the Finance Committee and as Director of the Capital Campaign that funded the new additions to their building and playgrounds.  "I felt called to arts education in college, and have had that calling confirmed all my life.  I especially love building confidence and stimulating curiosity in children and helping them discover how truly wonderful and awesome they are."

Rotarians, WE are The People Who Have Persevered. When the World stood down, Rotarians Stepped Up, as RI President Nominee Jennifer Jones has proclaimed!
It has been very challenging, but as RI President Holger Knaack has shown us, Rotary Opens Opportunities!
WE have kept Rotary alive and serving, in OUR Communities and OUR World!  WE have raised funds and provided Food for OUR Neighbors, twice. We are providing trusted information about the safety of AntiCovid vaccines and encouraging the rollout of vaccinations.
Although it’s still not easy to do hands-on Service projects, Rotary once again provides us with an incredible Opportunity to make a huge impact in OUR World, to Push to End Polio Now! We are nearly halfway to OUR District’s $1 Million Dollar Goal by June 30th, 2021.The Power of US can get this done!
Thanks for all the good you will continue to do in the World, through your Rotary Service!
