"NEVI" (program to install charging stations for electric vehicles)
Tami Alexander joined the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) in May of 2022 as the Transportation Electrification Manager to work on state planning for EV charging and electric transportation. Prior to joining KDOT, she worked for Metropolitan Energy Center as a Senior Program Coordinator and the Central Kansas Clean Cities Coordinator where she led the statewide EV Corridor Planning Group. Since 2017, she has worked on transportation programs for electric and alternative fuel vehicles and infrastructure and educated the public, businesses, and governments on alternative fuels, EVs, and EV charging equipment. Tami earned her undergraduate degrees and a Master’s in Environmental Science from Wichita State University. She is proud to be a life-long Kansan and lives in Wichita with her husband and their three children.

Prairie Pines Playhouse
Join your fellow WW Rotarians for an all-inclusive evening designed for your complete entertainment. This high-energy, hilarious mystery theatre production is played between a delicious progressive style dinner. Be sure to specify your entrée choice when you sign up: Sausage Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan or Veggie Lasagna. A salad, garlic toast, mixed veggies and dessert will accompany the entrée. They offer a full bar and specialty drink menu. Alcoholic beverages will be an additional charge (non-alcoholic drinks and meal are included with ticket price).

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS
This is the last day to make reservations for our club social at Prairie Pines Playhouse Mystery Theatre.
 
Thank you to our Riverfest volunteers last week: Randy Bowles, Nancy Chadick, Dan Kreis, Bruce Pearson, Dale Rein, Allan Sands and Joe Terick. Thanks also to Jodi Besthorn, Community Service Chair, for organizing this project.
 
If anyone wants to serve on a different committee for our new Rotary year beginning July 1, let Diane know ASAP.
