Ember Hope
Warren Sheridan has been serving vulnerable children and families for over a decade. His native home of San Antonio is the largest most complex child welfare system in Texas and his tenure with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services as a front-line worker and in leadership served as the crucible which strengthened his skill and practice. Warren moved to EmberHope in 2023 serving as the Executive Director of the Texas Foster Care Program which facilitated treatment foster care, kinship foster care, traditional foster care, and foster to adopt services. As Vice President of EmberHope Connections, Warren is excited to bring his extensive knowledge and innovative practices of child welfare to influence better practices for children in family in Sedwick County. Warren has a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling,  and is a practicing Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma, and a Licensed Child Placing Agency Administrator.

Allison Pate is the Vice President of Residential Services for EmberHope Youthville in Newon, KS.  She has a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration.  She has 7 years of Juvenile Justice experience and 16 years of Child Welfare Experience in both Kansas and Missouri including experience in Residential, Performance Improvement, and Case Management. Allison developed an interest in Human Trafficking, especially Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking, in 2014 while working with the Kansas Attorney General’s office as part of their Human Trafficking grant program.  Allison has served on the Human Trafficking Advisory Board-Victim’s Services Committee for the Attorney General’s office and the anti-sexual exploitation group, ASERCA in Wichita.
