PAUL HARRIS FELLOW PRESENTATION
Congratulations to Tony Morrow for receiving a PHF+3, presented by Monty Allen, Foundation Chair. Tony's contributions to The Rotary Foundation are used to further the mission of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. Donations given to the Annual Fund are used for service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world.
UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER CONTEST
Thanks to all our members who contributed to the fun & festivity by wearing their ugly Christmas sweater at our December 20th club meeting!
Determined by the loudest clapping, Roger Bowles was declared the winner. Pretty sure Ed Frey (K-State fan) was clapping extra loud to confirm
Roger's KU sweater was the ugliest. : )

Recipient of our High School Scholarship...
Dear Rotary Club of West Wichita,
I wanted to send you a letter regarding the scholarship you gave me at the beginning of the last semester! It's been a really tough semester. I took Physics, Calculus 2, and a programming class at Wichita State, as well as, the Airframe portion of my Airplane Mechanics license at WSU Tech. I just finished up taking my final tests for my classes last week and am happy to say that I passed everything! I have one more really hard semester to pass before I receive my Mechanics license, and hopefully after that, my workload will ease up.
Thank you all once again for being an encouragement to me while I pursue my studies!
