13 new Keepers on Parade help celebrate Wichita's 150th Birthday
13 new Keepers on Parade help celebrate Wichita's 150th Birthday

KEEPER 150 is a project of Together Wichita, It was undertaken as a way to celebrate Wichita's 150th birthday. Today, via Zoom, we'll hear how this group worked with the city and local artists to provide 13 Keeper replica sculptures to Wichita's six districts.

Each Keeper is unique and each artist found a way to brand their art with design elements symbolizing the number 150.

ARE YOU A LITTLE HESITANT TO TRY ZOOM?
Read the message that Rod Brown sent to Mark Chamberlin after last week's zoom meeting:
Mark,
I'd like to thank you for the work you put into our Zoom meeting today. I have to admit I'm not a techno guy because it's my wife's profession so I've never had an interest or need to learn it. I'm not a fan of Facebook, Instagram and alike, but I did find this format comfortable and somewhat entertaining. You may have cured my reluctance of the internet and I am looking forward to our next meeting. See you next week on Zoom.
Rod Brown

A BIG THANKS to Mark for using his expertise in hosting our zoom meetings! We want to see EVERYONE and it's a fun way to stay connected and in touch with  what our club is doing not to mention the great line-up of programs. If you have any questions, Mark Chamberlin, Shelli Kadel and DeAnn Sullivan have all offered to help members get on zoom. Don't hesitate to reach out to them!

The Four-Way Test of the things we think, say or do:
  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and better FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
