TANZANIA WATER PROJECT

Ed Frey helping in Tanzania
Posted on our club's Facebook page by Jamie Wise:
We are thrilled to announce that the two water systems funded by our Rotary Club have been successfully installed in Tanzania! These systems will provide clean, safe water to communities in need, improving health and creating opportunities for growth.

A special THANK YOU to Isaac McNary and Ed Frey, who traveled to Tanzania to personally oversee the installation of the units. Your commitment, hard work, and dedication to this project have made a real difference in the lives of so many.

We also want to express our gratitude to all our members and donors for their support. Thanks to you, these systems are now providing life-changing access to clean water!

This project is a testament to the power of collaboration and service. Together, we’re making the world a better place, one drop at a time.

Our club received a heartfelt thank you note from Floyd and Kathy Hammer, Co-Founders of the The Outreach Program—the company behind this project—expressing their gratitude for our contributions to the Water Point Systems, which will provide clean water to countless children!
CHRISTMAS FAMILY DELIVERIES
Mark Hansen, Holiday Project Chair, reported that the Christmas family deliveries of groceries and gifts went well. As shown above, there were 6 Rotarians, 4 Rotarian kids, 5 Interact kids and 1 spouse who helped on the Saturday before Christmas. Our thanks to these volunteers along with our members who purchased gifts to make the holiday season brighter for those in need.
ICT SOS Workday & Open House

Saturday, January 11, was a successful workday at ICT SOS, with accomplishments that surpassed expectations. The team of volunteers worked diligently to organize, unpack, and set up spaces, making significant progress in a short amount of time. A big thanks to our club members who joined fellow area Rotarians in volunteering: Vern Klassen, Bob Nelson, Joey Timmer, and DeAnn Sullivan. Special recognition to Joey Timmer, Committee Chair for our District's Rotarians Against Human Trafficking (RAHT), for leading this ongoing partnership with ICT SOS in the fight against human trafficking.
