Dave Abbott is a Postal Nomad.  His first mentor asked him if he wanted to have 40 years of Postal Experience or one year Postal Experience 40 times over??? He chose the former.

Postal Finance/Human Resources: St. Joseph MO, Salina KS,  Kansas City MO

District Director Finance: Atlanta GA (covered States of Alabama and Georgia)

Faculties and Procurement: Wichita Division (state of Kansas and Eastern Colorado)

Postmaster: Shawnee Mission and Leavenworth

This does not include temporary assignments in Chicago and Memphis Regions, Mail Processing in Huntsville, AL and the Kansas City Bulk Mail Center (parcel distribution).  WARNING:  This path can be very hard on the family, but my wife stayed with me and we celebrated number 52 this year.

Dave has been a Rotarian since 1990 in five different clubs (Shawnee Mission, Johnson County, Leavenworth, West Sedgwick County Sunrise, and West Wichita).  He is Past President of the Leavenworth and Sunrise Rotary Clubs and is currently serving as Global Grant Chair for District 5680.
