Instead of our regular club meeting at RHCC today, we’ll be gathering for a special all-club meeting at the newly renovated Westlink Branch Library, located at 8515 Bekemeyer. The Westlink Branch recently reopened after an extensive remodel that doubled its size and added modern community spaces and cutting-edge technology for the community to enjoy. As part of our club’s support for the library, we’ve donated a collection of Wonderbooks. During our visit, we will have a boxed lunch, hear about the Library and the Wonderbooks then have the opportunity to see them and take a guided tour of the updated facility.
They will be taking a group photo, so wear your Rotary shirt if you have one!
Dear Special friends of the Rotary Club of West Wichita,
You each launched me off into a new decade! It was over the top and I loved every Birthday wish, the singing, the cake, the sign on the table, the generous gas card, the birthday cards and especially the photo OP with Bob Goebel.
The lunch with you all was perfect; couldn't have felt more pampered!
Love and hugs to all for the very special way to start my month of birthday fun!
Armida

ROTARY FOUNDATION DONATIONS
To make sure your contribution to The Rotary Foundation counts toward this Rotary year, please submit your donation before the end of June.
As an added incentive, any donation of $100 or more will enter you into a drawing for a week-long stay at the Bowles cabin in Colorado—a wonderful getaway generously offered by Roger and Randy Bowles. Many thanks to them for their ongoing support and generosity!
Please make checks payable to The Rotary Foundation and give them to Cindy Hand, our Foundation Chair.
SERVICE IN ACTION
On May 12th, Kathy Collmann, Paige Koeppen, and Peggy Bing from our WW Satellite Club met at the Sedgwick County Extension Office to assemble 18 Kitchen Restore Kits. These kits support families referred through community organizations such as The Treehouse and United Way.
Participants in the program attend classes focused on topics like healthy eating and food preparation. After completing at least four classes, families can select items from a variety of kitchen essentials, including utensils, dinnerware, pots and pans, and small appliances—equipping them to prepare healthy meals at home.
