Barn'rds, a family-owned eatery, prepares soups, salads and sandwiches from scratch daily. Ken Hertel and his family have been winning loyal customers by offering quick, tasty and nutritious meals for nearly a quarter century now.
In November, they were recognized for their efforts when the Wichita Dietetic Association presented them with the Positive Plate Award. The award was created by the group of professional dieticians to highlight area restaurants that make healthy eating easy by following the Dietary Guidelines.
Barn'rds was formerly located at 21st & Woodlawn but has now relocated to the west side on Maize Road, just south of 37th Street North.
Please wear a mask at our meeting except when seated to eat. Our buffet will be served by the RHCC staff and the tables will be spread apart in the room with a limit of 6 per table. We have a zoom option for those who are unable to attend in person.
