TODAY'S MEETING
Nov 11, 2025 12:00 PM
Say yes!

Paige Koeppen is the Chair of the Rotary Satellite Club of West Wichita - Service.  She worked as a counselor at Clark Davidson Elementary School in Goddard, KS for 33 years.  While there, she started Grandparent’s Luncheon, she was a mentor to young teachers, coordinated many different social emotional programs, and ate lunch with every child in the school throughout the year. She learned every name of all 500 students by October of every year.  The "7 habits of Effective Kids" were one of the programs that was taught to teach children kindness, perseverance and many other important qualities. She is thrilled to continue making the world a better place through her membership in Rotary.

WHAT IS A ROTARY SATELLITE CLUB?
A Rotary Satellite Club is a branch of an existing Rotary Club, established to provide a more flexible and accessible way for individuals to engage in Rotary and community service activities. Sponsored by a traditional “parent” Rotary Club, the Satellite Club operates under its guidance and support while maintaining its own members, officers, and meetings. This structure allows the club to tailor its schedule, organization, and service initiatives to better align with the needs and lifestyles of its members. The primary purpose of a Rotary Satellite Club is to broaden opportunities for Rotary engagement and to make participation more inclusive for individuals who may not be able to commit to the conventional format of a Rotary Club.

Our Rotary Satellite Club of West Wichita – Service was chartered on July 1, 2024, with 13 charter members. Since then, the club has grown to 20 members, including two new members joining this month. The group is actively engaged in community service, carrying out projects that reflect Rotary’s commitment to making a positive impact. Their meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. at Chico’s Restaurant, 4407 West Maple. All are welcome to attend.
