ROTARY CONNECTIONS SHINE IN TAIPEI AS DEANN MEETS OUR INCOMING EXCHANGE STUDENT
DeAnn Sullivan just arrived back from attending the 2026 Rotary International Convention in Taipei. While there, DeAnn and her son, Jerry, had dinner the final evening with Pimnara, our Club's Rotary Youth Exchange student from Bangkok, and her parents. Her dad is a past president of his Rotary Club and took this photo for his club bulletin. Pimnara should arrive mid-August and will be hosted by Mark and Lesley Hazleton.

What an incredible day honoring SERVICE BEFORE SELF demonstrated by the Rotary Club of West Wichita at the June 30 meeting.

Ed Frey recognized Bob Goebel as a charter member along with a remarkable 38 years of service making him an Honorary member (below left). Mindy Wagner honored retiring Executive Director Diane Walker's amazing 39 years of service to the club and presented her with tokens of our appreciation and an Honorary membership.

HOLIDAY RAFFLE:Lori Taylor won $15 in the raffle at last week's meeting. The raffle this week will be worth $157 if the Ace is drawn. Proceeds from the raffle are used to fund our Monthly & Holiday Grocery project so thank you for supporting this effort!

SATELLITE HOSTS PATRIOTIC PARTY WITH FOOD AND FUN
The Satellite Club cooked hamburgers and hotdogs for Lake Point Retirement Village on July 1. Patriotic fun brought smiles to the residents.
Diane and Dave Walker visited WW Rotary member June Costin following the retirement festivities and brought her a cupcake to enjoy from the meeting.
