How developing hope can deepen our ability to have resilience and positivity in our personal and professional lives moving into 2021.

Capacity Communications unifies internal company culture with the external brand reputation. We each have individual capacity to succeed and perform and are a part of corporate capacity. Janice has created Capacity Communications to examine individual levels of growth within organizations to find opportunities for increase productivity and profits. She utilizes her 20 plus marketing experience and career to evaluate internal and external communication and build more successful strategies for success. Common sense marketing with well founded research can drive actual results. With Process Communication Model training, another layer of depth is added to marketing performance and certainty in effective communication. 

Janice Perkins, Owner of Capacity Communications, has a BFA from Rockford College in Illinois. She also attended college at the Art Institute in Chicago and at Regents College in London. She is currently getting her MBA from Pittsburg State University.

Janice moved to Wichita from Atlanta in 1996 and has worked for Koch Industries, ICM, Girl Scouts and various other industries in business development and marketing. She volunteered for decades for the YMCA and served on the corporate marketing committee. She currently serves on the BOD of WIBA and serves on marketing committees for WIBA, Girls on the Run, the Girl Scouts, Exploration Place and the downtown Sedgwick County Mental Health and Substance Abuse Coalition.

CHRISTMAS FAMILY GIFTS
Today's meeting is the last day to bring the gifts for our Christmas families. Delivery options: drop off in our meeting room before our meeting, bring to our meeting, or do a drive-by drop off after our meeting 1:00 - 1:15 p.m. - Mark Hansen will be out front to collect the gifts. Be sure to mark your name off the list when you bring it. Secure a nametag on the outside of the package with the child's name and gift number. No bows please.
 
Our Christmas grocery shopping crew: Mark Hansen (organizer), Scott Hinderliter, Colin McKenney, Joey Timmer, Rod Brown, Vern Klassen, Jacob Beckman and Brian Goudie will meet at Dillons on Central & West at 9:00 a.m. this Saturday, December 19, then deliver the groceries and gifts to the selected needy families from Lawrence and Benton Elementary schools.

UPCOMING MEETING SCHEDULE:
December 22 & 29: NO MEETINGS due to the holidays 
January 5 & 12 - Rolling Hills Country Club will be closed the first two weeks in January (as they are each year) so watch for alternate meetings plans that will be announced.
January 19 - In place of our meeting, we will split up and deliver bookshelves to the 1st graders and Lawrence & Benton Elementary schools. The deliveries will be outside;no lunch will be provided that day.
January 26 - Regular club meeting at RHCC with a zoom option.
 
QUARTERLY DUES BILLING
Statements will be e-mailed this week through ClubRunner for our January - March 2021 Rotary quarter. Watch for your bill and please pay promptly.
 
             
Salvation Army
Bell Ringing

THANKS to our club members who rang bells for the Salvation Army last Saturday and to Vern Klassen for organizing! Members who rang: Allan Sands, Vern Klassen,  Bob Goebel John Mosley, Phil Michel, Jodi Besthorn, Rod Brown & Sharon West. Vern reported that the Salvation Army is running a "special promotion" on Saturdays that anyone who donates a $20 bill will be matched by an anonymous donor, so our ringers were promoting that match!

HOLIDAY RAFFLE: Allan Sands won $3 in our raffle last week. Sharon reported that there are still 3 Aces left in the deck! The pot will be worth over $213 if an Ace is drawn. Proceeds from the raffle are used to purchase groceries for needy families at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
