With over three decades dedicated to the field of education, the current Head of School at Wichita Friends School (WFS) is in her fourth year of leadership. Her extensive career spans both elementary and college levels, reflecting a deep commitment to nurturing young minds across a spectrum of ages. For her, the role at WFS is more than a profession; it's a calling, a place where she feels divinely guided to fulfill God's work.

A passionate educator at heart, she finds immense joy in teaching and collaborating with students of all ages. Beyond the classroom and administrative duties, she is an avid enthusiast of sports and athletics.

 

Family plays a central role in her life. Married with five children – four sons and one daughter, with four of them married – she is also the proud "Nana" to eight grandchildren, with the delightful anticipation of four more on the way. These little ones are a source of immense joy, and she cherishes every opportunity to watch them participate in any activity.

 

Her appreciation for life extends beyond her professional and family life to include a love for many genres of music. However, her favorite way to unwind and recharge is simply being at the lake.
