Our club awards three $1,000 high school scholarships to graduating seniors in our area. Information and applications have been distributed to the schools but if you know someone that is eligible, please encourage them to apply! The deadline to submit an application is set for a mid-March date each year. Qualifications/Criteria: • Graduating seniors (from our area high schools) who plan to attend a Kansas college/university/community college/trade school • Proven involvement in school, church, and community activities • Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.00 or above (on a 4.0 scale) • A letter of recommendation from a teacher/administrator speaking to the quality of your work and study habits • Cannot be an immediate family relative of a member of the Rotary Club of West Wichita • Students must attend high school in West Wichita • Write a 250 word essay on the Rotary 4-Way Test
