Katy Dorrah became the executive director at Mark Arts, then known as the Wichita Center for the Arts, in December 2014. Before joining Mark Arts, she was the Vice President of Resource Development for United Way of the Plains since August 1994.
Katy Dorrah became the executive director at Mark Arts, then known as the Wichita Center for the Arts, in December 2014. Before joining Mark Arts, she was the Vice President of Resource Development for United Way of the Plains since August 1994. During her 20 years at United Way she helped to raise $235 million for their annual campaigns. She was instrumental in the founding United Way’s Young Leaders Association and Women United. Katy was the President of Junior League of Wichita in 2011-2012 when the League launched a new cookbook that sold 6,600 copies during its first six months, developed an outcome statement to refine its impact area, raised a record amount at Holiday Galleria by increasing revenue by 45% and led a recruitment drive in which 76 women joined the League which increased the overall membership to 818. Katy holds of Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University.
