Scholarships

The Rotary Club of West Wichita will award up to five $1,000 scholarships to qualified 2026 graduating seniors.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Current graduating high school senior from one of the following west-side schools: Northwest, Bishop Carroll, Maize, Maize South, Maize Complete, Goddard or Eisenhower.
Plan to attend a Kansas technical school or Kansas college/university.
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
Submit all required materials as listed below.
Must not be an immediate family member of a current member of the Rotary Club of West Wichita.

Submit the following along with this completed application form:

A short paragraph (75–100 words) explaining why you chose to pursue your intended major, career, or vocational training.
A list of your activities, including: work experience, volunteer service, community involvement, church participation, and school-related activities.
A letter of recommendation from a high school teacher, administrator, or employer commenting on the quality of your work ethic and study habits.

NOTE: Applicants selected to be scholarship recipients are expected to attend one of our club meetings during April or May to accept the award and briefly share about future plans and how this scholarship will benefit them.
