National Association of Homebuilders

 

Carl Harris, a Wichita-based small volume spec and custom home builder with over 40 years of experience in the home building, remodeling, and light commercial construction industry, is the National Association of Home Builder's (NAHB) current Chairman of the Board.

 

The association has over 140,000 members and is headquartered in Washington, D.C. NAHB represents over 700 state and local associations which, all combined, make up NAHB. Their mission statement is: "NAHB strives to protect the American Dream of housing opportunities for all, while working to achieve professional success for its members who build communities, create jobs, and strengthen our economy."

 

As co-founder and president of the Carl Harris Co., Inc. and Managing Partner of Harris Homes, Mr. Harris has built homes in many communities in Kansas.
