Daniel McCoy is a reporter with the Wichita Business Journal and a 2006 graduate of Wichita State University. After spending two years as a correspondent with the Wichita Eagle, McCoy joined the staff at the WBJ in 2008. In the 12 years since, he has covered aerospace, manufacturing, Koch Industries and a variety of other companies and topics for the WBJ, giving him a front-row seat to every major business story in Wichita for more than a decade. His work is often picked up by national platforms including Yahoo Finance and he has been interviewed on aerospace topics by outlets as far away as the BBC in London — though his favorite interviews are on the BizTalk with Bill Roy podcast. He is married with five children in a blended family and resides in his hometown of Clearwater.
